The Ex! Returns for a New Generation

A modern recreation of the Ex! built with James Reed, one of the most innovative yoyoers of the 2010s who used the Ex! as his weapon of choice on stage. The original release under Axis was a hit, but it suffered from stripped axles and weight rings that fell out. The Ex 2 takes that legacy and fixes every issue, creating a version that feels right at home for fans of the Ex! while also delivering the width, power, and stability that modern players expect.

The Return of Paul Escolar’s Legendary Ex! Artwork

Each Ex 2 includes nine stickers, seven featuring Paul Escolar’s original Ex! illustrations rendered in beautiful color. Each sticker originally served as a sort of mascot for the six original colorways. This classic artwork finally returns to a yoyo release for the first time in over a decade, and we've ensured that all six original yoyo colorways were brought back for the new release.

Built Stronger Than the Ex! Ever Was

The Ex 2 upgrades the original with a 7075 aluminum body and a 304 stainless steel outer rim. It uses a longer 10 mm axle that prevents misthreading. Plus, test units survived multiple six foot drops without developing vibe.
