The Drop is the first 3D-printed yoyo designed for modern competitive performance. Bright color options that GLOW under blacklight, perfect for live performances and social media videos. Plus, the finger spin hub delivers some of the best DNAs of any yoyo on the market. This is the cutting edge of 3D-printed yoyo design all at an affordable price.
Being 3D-printed, it was easy to make lots of prototypes, so I did. After over 25 prototypes, this yoyo's design has been optimized in countless important ways which helps explain the amazing performance.
How the Drop stands out
- Extremely bright UV reactive color options that shine in the sun and GLOW under blacklight for unmatched visuals on camera
- Wide, stable performance ideal for hitting the most extreme horizontal combos
- Computationally optimized moment of inertia and weight distribution for state-of-the-art performance
- Great for Pull-starts, Tallon Grinds, and DNAs
- Designed for easy DNAs that auto-correct (just give it a strong horizontal throw)
- Designed and manufactured by hand in Hollywood, California
The yoyo feels comfortable in the hand with an oversized H shape. The extremely fine .12mm printed layer height make for a low friction finish which appears matte and feels bead blasted. This makes the Drop good for grinds and finger spins. No additional process is used to give the yoyo its naturally beautiful 3D-printed finish.
Who is this yoyo for?
- Competitors who want a more forgiving model to practice tricks which require a wide, powerful yoyo, without being smacked in the face with 65 grams of aluminum
- Intermediate players who want to try out modern competition tricks without paying the modern competition premium
- Video creators who want a very capable UV reactive "black light" yoyo. The Drop is already being used by national champion @ianjyoyo (21k insta followers) and @shalomrocksyyf (50k insta followers)
- Performers who need a capable unresponsive yoyo that SHINES under blue or purple stage lights
- Anyone who wants a good 3D-printed yoyo in their collection, just to show off

Quality Notes
This is not a dead smooth yoyo. It's a fun yoyo. Although you can expect a little vibe when touching the body, the string vibe is minimal and finger spins are comfortable. If these two criteria are not met, they are sorted and sold as B grade.
Durability Notes
3D-printed yoyos are not as indestructible as traditional plastic yoyos. This yoyo is perfect for performing for the camera, for live audiences, and for practicing indoors. We do not recommend using any 3D-printed yoyo as an everyday carry throw or as a "beater".
Maintaining your Drop
3D-printed yoyos are different than machined yoyos and require a little extra knowledge. Learn everything you need to know to maintain your Drop in this article.
The internals of this yoyo are based on the brilliant original design by YJ Yoyo of Korea. I greatly appreciate their permission to use this design.
